So since Scream 4 will be out in about a week, i figured i would start a thread and talk about the series. The first film in my opinion is fantastic, it was one of the best slasher film from the 90s and it remains one of my favorite horror films of all time, it was one movie i loved because it was so intense, (mainly the last 30 minutes) and it offered everything horror fans wanted, an awesome killer, great kills and hot chicks, and just lots of fun to watch (at least up until Scary Movie came out, Now i always think of that film when i see Ghostface) So does anyone else like this series and is excited for the new film to hit theaters.

I'm not the biggest Scream fan, but I will give them some credit, mainly on part due to the actors. The reveal and ending in part 1 is classic, and perfectly acted out. And I love that Wes decided to leave some goofs in the scene. "Ow! you F***ING hit me with the phone, dick!"
I cringed at the second one because I hated seeing Randy bite it, he was pretty much every horror-fanboys spokesperson for the series. But I will give the film credit for Timothy Olyphant, I've been a fan of his ever since I saw Scream 2, and am glad that his career is going great these days, check him out on Justified!
Part 3 had a Jay and Silent Bob cameo.. that's as much as I was able to retain from it.
Part 4 has caught my eye, though, I gotta admit. The idea of the killer video-taping all the kills would be intriguing and I'd totally love to see the Scream-Snuff film lmao. Though again, that is something slightly retained from the second film, pretty sure Mickey was recording some of his events.
I probably won't have the money to see it in theaters, spending my last few bucks on Insidious this monday for my 23rd B-day, but I'll likely end up checking it out when it hits my local B-buster.

I'm looking forward to it. I loved Scream and Scream 2. Part 3 was a massive letdown for me. I haven't seen it since theaters. I hope Craven brings his A game this time.
