"That means everyone I know..." "Is dead." ....
MY question is, would Brad be dead?
I doubt it.
1992 to 2045 is only 53 years, here...
Now, anything could have happened to the character since then, but what if we say he lived a healthy life?
Bradley Brown -
1971 - Brad is born (If we go off Actor Scott Grimes' birthday)
1984 (as explained by Charlie) - Events of Critters happen, Brad is 12-13 years old
(Even though the film came out in '86. He is fairly younger than April, who I always thought to be about 16. If we're going of Grimes' birthdate, 1984 would have made him 12-13, rather than being 14-15 in 1986)
1988 - Four years later, events of Critters 2, Brad is 15-16 years old.
1992 - Critters 3, Brad would be just about 20, maybe 21.
jump to: 2045 - Charlie is told everyone he knows is dead
But remember, we're pretending Brad might have lived a healthy long life... So, if he is alive, would be roughly 74-75 years old.
Maybe even younger if we assume Brad the character was born a little later than 1971, I'm just going off Grimes' birthdate because usually kids in films play their own age, it's not till actors are in their 20s that they're asked to play as teenagers Lol.
This is all the potential a fan needs in order to demand that we see Brad again!
PS: For you American Dad! watchers, did anyone catch Scott Grimes' reference?
"Might watch Critters, or Critters 2..."

Exactly haha
Lol in American Dad, Grimes plays the character Steve, the son of Stan. He and his friends are discussing why they aren't too old for sleepovers yet and when asked what they intend to do over the weekend, Steve says "I don't know. Might watch Critters, or Critters 2..."

Maybe something really bad happened to the earth, after Charly left with the eggs. Big natural disasters or another critter plague. Or maybe Terracor/ new intergalactic Council came to earth to search for the eggs, because the sent spaceship didn't return. They wasted the earth when they angrily recognized, that the eggs disappeared, killed everbody who had last contact to Charlie who found the eggs, used earth as testing area for the syphiliods or something like that. I think to much. Sorry.

No no, actually that'd line up perfectly with my idea for a Critters 5!
If Brad did die, I hope he went out fighting with one last bang. Maybe a big boom or something haha. It would be cool to see him as an older man though, or at least some knowledge of him fighting off as many critters as he could.

I doubt Brad is dead. Bernie was just being pessimistic, and he probably thought everybody Charlie knew were old people.
I know for sure that Annie, Josh, and the little kid (forgot his name) were still alive, assuming they led healthy lives and nothing happened to the earth. They were way too young to just be dead.

Well... Ethan gets to this group, because the Tesla was a rescue-ship on its way to earth and Ethan wanted to see/search(?) for his father there. So I have the idea, that earth in 2045 isn't a pleasant place to live any longer . Maybe Ethan's father was also a rescueman there before. Don't know. Ethan himself has never been to earth before. Why? Because it's so funny to live in space? ^^ I think, there were more people who had to move into space. But you're right. All the people in the past could be still alive, but it is hard for me to imagine, that they all were able to live a nice little conservative standard life. Think there happend more in the past. But that's stuff for another part, maybe

No doubt Steve and his horny little buddies (based upon what they have said & done in other epiodes) would love Critters 2, at least because of Lee's change into the centerfold if for nothing else lol. On a side note, I love American Dad awesome show.
