Any fans of this amazing adult Sci-fi fantasy comic/graphic novel? i bought it as a trade paperback graphic novel when i was in junior high.
I thought it was the coolest and moving yet very adult superhero story i've ever read and the citizen kane of graphic novels/comics as it did started out in 86 and 87 as a 12 issue mini-series for DC.
Alan Moore is a genius for giving us an original comic story.

I found a copy of Watchmen under the bed at a hotel when I was thirteen, I read it all that night before falling asleep and had a really messed dream. When I woke up I felt like I was looking at thr world through a whole different pair of eyes and a new mindset. I ended up leaving the comic where I found it, I figured it was there for a reason and maybe it would do for someone else what it did for me. This was before the days of the internet and I lived in Indiana at the time, it took me five years to track the novel down again, but it remains one of my favorites to this day, and I still live by Rorschach's last lines.
"Even in the face of Armageddon, I shall not compromise."
