So at the end of Critters 2 Charlie flies the Space ship into the Giant Critter Ball Killing all the Critters but then in Critters 3 the critters just kind of come out of nowere, there is never any information on how more Critters arrived back on Earth. I like to think that not all the Critters from part 2 were killed in the explosion and some of them stayed back at the Polar Burger factory and continued eating on all the hamburger meat and then head off towards the woods to stay out the way from Charlie and other Bounty Hunters.
What everyone else Think?

That's something I like to play around with whenever I write up some fanfiction. Generally, I just explain it as some of the Crites not being killed in the second film. I haven't gotten into the intricate details in my story yet, though, unfortunately.
I would think some were just not even in the movie all that much, and then just high-tailed it after a while, hence nobody noticing that some weren't destroyed. Heck, some could've survived Charlie crashing into the Critter Ball, and then rolled away while everybody was preoccupied.

But how'd they get the crystals lol... HOW?! The bounty hunters would have had to make another stop at Earth in that 3 year grace period... sorry... its been EATING at me for 18 years.

Maybe the other bounty hunters had already given him the crystals while in space at the beginning of part 2 and charlie kept them in his uniform and he didn't have to use them in part 2 cause he was with the bounty hunters the whole time and the bounty hunters gave the crystals to charlie in case he ever ended up alone So charlie never had to use them until he was left on earth alone

Back to your question, wasn't there only one at the beginning of 3 anyway? It seemed to be a weak female and it laid eggs which hatched rather quick (though its supposed to take 6 months for them to hatch). There was probably only one left from part 2 and it was probably going hungry after 3 years. Good ol' Chuck mustuv been tracking her down that whole time hence why he ended up in Manhattan or wherever that place was.

Yeah, when Charlie is telling his story, you can hear him say "There's only one of 'em left." But that doesn't mean there weren't more before, and he just destroyed the rest up to that point.
The eggs hatching so quickly needs to be explained. Either that or the writers for Part 4 didn't think about it.

I think, even if all critters were eliminated, in part 2 they had been all over town. They had enough time to lay eggs in every single dark corner of Grover’s Bend, while they were hunted. Charlie don’t want to be left back on earth, but I think, they had a good reason why Charlie were left there in the end. Maybe the Bountyhunters and the intergalactic council knew, that they didn’t kill all crites. They just protected the town and ring-fenced the plague. In the end Charlie became sheriff of the town (The sheriff threw him the Sheriff’s star, when he left with Brad by bus), and therefore he had to continue protecting the people from harm. If every crite laid just one egg, he had a lot to do to find and kill them all ;-) Maybe there were also some Information in the newspaper articles, which the old man collected in part 3, but the scene was always to fast for me, to read what’s written there.
I think so, too. Didn't he say, that he had more of the cristalls in the past, but now there's only one left, before he gave it to the kid?

Charlie wasn't talking about the crystal when he said there was only one left. He already said he only had a couple crystals left before that.

OK, you were right. ^^ Watched this little part again in both languages. He really said, he had a lot of them in the past, but there were just a couple of cristalls left, and he wanted the kid to have one of it. But i'm a bit confused about that: I can't find that point in the film. When does he say that? Didn't even know, that it last 6 month till the eggs hatches. o.O' Was it ever mentioned somewhere in the films? Can't remember.

I can't find that point in the film. When does he say that? When the camera is panning back with the Crite as it's leaving the woods and going toward the camper, if you listen really closely you'll hear Charlie say it. I forget if the subtitles catch it. Charlie says it in the 4th film. This is clearly contradicted by the 3rd film though, at least from what we're shown.

I always just saw it as, Critters are pesky little furballs. Though they do stick together primarily, there always could have been a couple that got lost when they all scattered. Or maybe when the one guy brings all the eggs from the Brown farm in, he missed a few of them. Could be any number of reasons, I think if Critters had been more popular they might have gone through and picked up on these details, but since they sort of knew they only had so big a fan base, they just were looking for quick reasons to give fan base more films. And, it worked for me, I would have loved another few!
