Has anyone ever wondered whay Charlie didn't age when he was trapped in the space pod for over 50 years, I mean he doesn't look older he doesn't have a beard or long hair, he just look the same, like he woke up from a few hour nap. I like to think the stuff that sprayed him and put him to sleep was a gas that keeps your body the same as is that way the critter eggs wouldn't get old and ruin before they got them to the spaceship.

I figure the smoke the was release that knocked him out preserved him, sort of like frozen in carbonate like Han Solo was.
