Something I've always wondered about. Now do you guys & girls think that the one critter growing to gigantic proportions near the end of the film was a natural process that all critters who reach a certain age, or eat a certain amount of food, go through? Conversely could the Giant Critter have been an aberration, a rare, or one of a kind mutant in layman's terms?

When I was a kid I thought it was eating the chickens that made him grow because he was in the chicken coop when it happened lol.

the movie explanes that after the critters eats the chickens it grows six feet tall
