Obviously you have Critters, but you also have Gremlins, Ghoulies, Munchies...
What was it about that time period that made these movies so appealing?

I I don't think people were really asking for them it's just once Gremlins came out and was successful other companies wanted the same success so they made similar films.

A lot of people say Gremlins inspired them, but yet some of the scripts have been said to be around BEFORE Gremlins was even thought of. But none the less, they're still my favorite types of 80s films. It's too bad they don't make them anymore, they're really entertaining.

Hobgoblins was the worst one of the bunch It was on MST3K, its pretty bad I agree Kev and you a MST3K fan too? i actually rented Hobgoblins when i was 11 and thought it blew badly, thank god for the MST3K crew but even they couldn't sit through it as it gave them current traumatic stress disorder.
